Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Dividend Initiatives

Melbourne 2006
Some $26 million of budget savings from the Commonwealth Games is now being ploughed back into Victorian sport and has been committed across three program areas:
  • $6.8 million will be invested into sport development;
  • $5.85 million will support community programs; and
  • $13.25 million will help develop community facilities.
