Emergency Grants: Sporting and Recreational Equipment
The Emergency Grant provides assistance to local sport and active recreation clubs and organisations to replace essential sporting or first aid equipment that has been lost or destroyed as a consequence of unpreventable and exceptional events such as fire, theft or flood.
Who can apply
Non-government and not-for-profit clubs or organisations involved in the delivery of sport and active recreation opportunities. The replacement cost, up to a maximum of $2,000, may be granted through the fund.
The following needs to be provided with each application:
- Evidence of the loss or damage (such as photographs, police report; newspaper article
- A list of lost or damaged equipment together with a quote from a supplier for the cost of replacement
