State Sporting Association Support Grants
The State Sporting Assocation Support Grants (SSASG) have provided assistance to State Sport and Recreation Associations for over 10 years. There are two key components of funding, Business Planning (Business Improvement Program) and Strengthening Communities (Sport Development Manager and Future Directions Projects).
The SSASG strengthen the capacity of peak sport and recreation organisations through:
- Business skills development
- Developing partnerships
- Building capacity of affiliated clubs/associations
- Addressing inequality to under-represented groups, including rural Victorians, school-aged children, women, older people, people with disabilities, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and Indigenous people
- Increasing participation of Victorians in sport and recreation
Who can apply
Recognised State Sport and Recreation associations with at least 500 registered Victorian members.
