The $250,000 investment is designed to give women additional opportunities to advance in leadership positions within the Victorian sport and active recreation sector.
The program seeks to break down the barriers that exist for females to be considered for leadership roles within the sector.
Recipients of the scholarship will gain access to a range of professional development opportunities and training courses, benefitting not just themselves, but also their organisations.
